The following instructions are specific to adjusting device preferences, such as Stella's volume and greeting sensitivity.

If you are looking to teach Stella more information about your business, please see this article. We recommend using the web dashboard to train Stella.

Navigate to Device Preferences

  1. Tap the manager settings icon in the top-right corner of the screen to enter Manager Mode.
  2. Enter your manager PIN. Once authenticated, you will see a pop-up recommending that you visit the web dashboard to train Stella. Disregard this pop-up for now.
  3. Tap the settings icon. This is located at rightmost position of the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Select Your Greeting & Conversation Volumes

Drag the Greeting & Conversation Volume sliders to set your desired volume levels. The selected values will apply to greetings and conversations independently.

We recommend setting each volume level to 50% or above. 

If desired: Adjust Greeting Sensitivity

The greeting sensitivity setting controls the distance at which Stella will issue a greeting. By default, this distance is just over an arm's length away.

Switch the setting from Standard to Active or Eager to increase this distance and greet your customers more often.
